AIMS OF WILD BURWELL
To work together as part of the Burwell community to:
- Create a more biodiverse environment
- Enhance the local landscape for people and wildlife
- Raise awareness of links between the climate emergency and loss of nature
- Promote best practice to restore and protect habitats
Projects may include:
- Voluntary conservation projects
- Advocacy for nature and the climate
- Raising awareness and educational activities
- Other activities to be decided and discussed by the Committee before taking action
WILD BURWELL GROUP RULES
- Our activities will be within the UK law
- We treat everyone with respect and without discrimination
- When undertaking practical work, we follow instructions from the Project Leader/s
- For attendance at volunteering activities, events or meetings, those aged under 18 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
